the place object menu is as follows :-

OBJECT Plus 0
Examine Object : this
option shows you the currently selected Objects Details.
Up Object : moves the object selection list up
by 1 if the left mouse button is pressed and by 14 if the right
mouse button is used.
Objects : you may select an object by clicking
if you move into the Screen area
and press the left mouse button, the currently selected Object is
placed at that location, an
is placed at the location of the
object if there is nothing else visible at that location. if you
use the Right mouse button it will remove an object placed at
Down Object : moves down one object with the
left mouse button or 14 with the right.
OBJECT PLACED : a prompt will appear at the
bottom of the screen, saying SELECT PLACED OBJECTS
by clicking on a placed object this will jump to the object
OBJECT Plus # : this may be used to alter the
magical plus of a given object.
Main Menu : this jumps back to the Site Maker
Clear Objects : this removes all objects from
the current loaded site.
Unknown/Known Object : this tells you if the
next placed object will have a name or appear as a ?, you should
not use the Unknown option on your own objects.
you may right click on an object, this will launch the Object
Editor, allowing you to make your own objects.

Object Name : you
guessed it the object name.
Graphix Character : you select the graphics
character by moving the current selection at the bottom of the
screen,. using the far right and left of the sprites to scroll
right and left respectively, using the left button for 1 sprite
and the right button for 10 characters, the far left sprite is
the current selection. click on the graphics character number to
change the sprite.

explanations follow :-
20 Armour, 21 Priests can't wear this armour, 22 Wizards cant
wear this armour, 23 No Priest or Wizard can wear this armour.
30 Weapons, 31 No Priest weapon, 32 No Wizard Weapon, 33 No
Priest or Wizard weapon.
40 Wizard spell.
50 Clerical spell
150 Crystal ball.
160 Missiles, 161 No Priest missile, 162 No Wizard missile, 163
No Priest or wizard missile.
Special Code 2 : these codes change with Special
|Code 2 :- weapon/missile damage
4 = CLUB, 40 = DEATH SWORD
Armour Type 0=None 10=good
Shield Quality 0=-10 10=0 20=+10
If special code 1 = weapon then special code 2
represents weapon damage
If Code 1 = Armour Code 2 represents an armour class 0 lowest
If Code 1 = Shield Code 2 represents a shield type -10, so 0=-10
and 15=+5 etc.
If Code 1 = Potion Code 2 represents different types of potions 0
to 13 as listed above.
If Code 1 = Ring or Neckless Code 2 represents types of ring or necklace 0 to 14 as listed above.
If Code 1 = Wand Code 2 represents types of wand 0 to 8 as listed
Weight : this is an objects weight from
0=weightless up to 255 Maximum weight.
