Time Travel

first it's important to note there isn't really any time travel in SSKiller, if you go forward 10,000 years into the future you'd find a place identical to the place you left except most of the people you knew would be dead. and likewise 10,000 years into the past, you'd find it the same only without anyone you knew.

But. this is a big but, you can simulate time travel by using a dimensional gate to travel to a dimension with a greater or lesser technological level these are known as time lines. The only drawback to this is that most of the objects you carry with you will not work in these new dimensions, and you can be sure if it's made from technology or by technology, it won't work in the SSKiller world.

Time Lines
following are a list of the most common timelines, this is not a list of all the timelines and you should feel free to add your own, if you use it quite a lot just E-Mail me and I may add it to the ones below.

Prehistoric
prehistoric timelines are mainly those with dinosaurs and cave men, etc. most SSKiller objects and spells work fine in this timeline.

Medieval
this is the most SSKiller like timeline, all SSKiller objects and spells work just fine.

Napoleonic
the Napoleonic war period. few magic items or spells will work, but most powers work.

Elizabethan
this is the timeline that Britain Ruled the waves, and most everywhere was a British colony, few magic items or spells will work, but most powers work.

Cowboy
howdy partner, this be the time of gunslingers etc. few items, spells or powers will work.

World Wars
the first and second world wars. few items, spells or powers will work.

Modern 1960-2000
this timeline is just like watching the news, from the swinging sixties up to the end of the millennium few items, spells or powers will work.

Early Sci-Fi
this timeline is like an early Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon film, pointy rockets spitting fire, strange laser guns etc. few items, spells or powers will work.

Medium Sci-Fi
Beam me up Spockie, watch a few episodes of Star Trek and you'll get the idea, Starships, strange phaser type guns, silly looking monsters, etc. few items, spells or powers will work.

Late Sci-Fi
this is the era of Star Wars, the Next Generation, Battlestar Galactica, just watch some of these to get the idea. few items, spells or powers will work. although some may if they are enough like the Force or Psionics etc.

Light Saber 17 Swords light sabers work correctly 1/2 the time and attack the user the rest of the time
Electro Blade 12 Swords Electro Blades are like an electrified sword
Chain Blade 13 Swords Chain Blades are like a chain saw but a sword.

all the above weapon need 1 round to insert a new magazine, clip, battery or bullet
* burst a burst fires 3 rounds, all 3 rounds hit the same place causing the same damage, so 1 wound = 3 wounds, etc.

there are many other weapons within the timelines just use the above weapons as a guide, note most weapons will not work if taken to another timeline.

there are many types of normal technological items, just watch any Sci-Fi movie for ideas. they may be traded for, stolen or borrowed. most items will not work out of there timeline.
